I’ve unpublished the A.I.-narrated Bride Quest audiobooks, so they’re not available any longer. They were created at Amazon last year with their narration tool and were exclusive to Amazon/Audible.

I’m not a huge audiobook fan myself, but I didn’t love the result of the A.I. narration – it’s more of a mechanical text-to-speech than a performance. Also, with the AMZ tool, there was no ability to edit the pronunciation. The result also had to be exclusive to AMZ and Audible – in contrast, the tool at GooglePlay lets you edit the text to improve the pronunciation, and you can download the result to publish it elsewhere. It turns out that you didn’t love the A.I. narration either. These audiobooks aren’t selling, so I’ve unpublished them.

Maybe one day I’ll find a way to have the Bride Quest series recorded as human-narrated audiobooks. For the moment, it’s available in ebook, trade paperback and hardcover.
