Don’t forget! The Princess, book 1 of my Bride Quest series of medieval romances is free through June 22.
Yesterday, there was a BookBub Featured Deal for The Princess, and the book soared up the charts! This morning, it’s #1 in Medieval Romance at Amazon and #2 overall Free in the Kindle store.

Interestingly enough, the results are similar at Apple – The Princess is #2 overall free in the Apple store, and #2 in Romance. (And Rachael Herron has the number 1 spot over there too!)

Princess Brianna of Tullymullagh is determined to marry only for love—until her father’s holding is conquered and the king decrees that she must wed one of the victor’s sons. Thinking she can outwit this condition, Brianna issues a challenge: the son who brings her a gift that makes her laugh will win her hand.
Thus begins the Bride Quest of the three brothers Fitzgavin.
Burke and Rowan, knights both, ride out on Brianna’s quest, each intent upon triumph. Only Luc refuses to participate, for he knows that a princess had no place in the life of a battle-weary warrior like himself. Brianna is not inclined to accept his refusal—she tempts him and awakens his slumbering senses with her alluring beauty and her sweet kisses. Luc has sworn to lay down his sword forever—until he is the sole one who can defend the fair maiden who has claimed his shielded heart.

Newsletter Giveaway
In my most recent newsletter, I asked if you preferred linked titles or standalone romances. I had a lot of answers, and am really not surprised that most of you prefer linked stories. It makes sense that you get more invested in the characters and their world when there are more books set in that world. I was intrigued that so many of you dislike serialized stories, but then, that’s not such a thing in historical romance.
The winner of the signed copy of The Rogues of Ravensmuir Collectors’ Edition in hardcover was Billie.
Congratulations to Billie, and thanks to everyone who entered!
One Knight’s Return Today!
Quinn de Sayerne vowed never to return home while his wicked father drew breath. Twenty years after his departure, the knight and crusader is summoned to claim his family holding after his father’s death. But the overlord decrees that Quinn must wed Melissande, the beautiful but frosty heiress of neighboring Annossy. Quinn resolves to win the heart of his lady wife, no matter what the cost, and thence the seal of Sayerne.
Melissande cannot believe that her liege lord has ignored her betrothal and wed her to a mercenary. Worse, he has granted her beloved Annossy to her new husband against her every protest. Though Melissande finds herself the chattel of this rough knight, she is determined to fight Quinn on every front—for the sake of her betrothal, Annossy, and her own pride.
But Annossy itself is in danger with brigands raiding its borders. Quinn is charged to oust the villains, but soon fears his lady wife is in peril—or is she allied with the brigands? Can this pair come to trust each other in time to work together for the sake of the future, or will a villain’s evil scheme cost them both everything they hold dear?
An earlier version of this story was published as My Lady’s Champion. What’s different? Ha. Pretty much everything – except Quinn, who I still adore. 🙂 The book has been completely revised, and there are new scenes linking the company of Rogues & Angels to the story. Tulley has a niece now, too.
