This weekend, One Knight Enchanted, book #1 of Rogues & Angels, is just 99 cents!

One Knight Enchanted, #1 of the Rogues & Angels series of medieval romances by Claire Delacroix

Cursed to take the form of the wolf by day, Rolfe de Viandin is skeptical that love can save him. All he wants is to return home from crusade by the Yule and even the pleasures of a magical palace cannot console him…until a beautiful and bold maiden arrives at his gates, seeking sanctuary, and Rolfe’s hope is restored.

Hunted in the forest, Annelise de Sayerne has to surrender her desire to wed for love, as the price of entering the only refuge is marriage to its enigmatic lord. She fears he must be a monster, but once she experiences his kindness, Annelise resolves to find love with her new husband—if she can just claim his heart.

Even as Rolfe is beguiled by his bride and Annelise unravels his secrets, a spurned suitor pursues Annelise, determined to claim her legacy at any price. If Rolfe’s curse is not broken, how can he defend his beloved wife from the villain? Will their future be lost before it is truly won—or will Rolfe be convinced of the power of love in time?

An earlier version of this story was published by Harlequin Historicals under the title Enchanted. This version has a different ending.

“One Knight Enchanted is a revised book and is the start of a new series Rogues & Angels. The series will be about knights returning to their homes from years at the Crusade. Before they all left on their journey, each was given a special gift that’s supposed to help…in the future to come. Book one is the story of Rolfe de Viandin… along with the misfortune that he encounters. Lady Annelise de Sayerne stumbles across Rolfe de Viandin on her trip to a convent in hope of avoiding a forced marriage… This book supplies romance, laughter and adventure. If you like “fairytale” stories then this is a great beginning of a delightful series to come! Five stars!”

My reading guide is updated for 2020! I’m a bit late this year, but it’s done now. This free digital volume includes information about all of my books and series, with suggestions for reading order, tropes, etc. I change the colour of the cover each year so you can tell easily which one you have – this year, it’s blue with pink.

You can download the guide free at your portal of choice. If it’s not free at Amazon in your territory, you can download your free copy at BookFunnel.

The Champions of St. Euphemia Hard Cover Collector’s Editions

The Champions of St. Euphemia series of medieval romances by Claire Delacroix

The buy links for the new hard cover editions of the books in the Champions of St. Euphemia series have perked through to most of the portals. (There are a couple that are slower.)

I’ve added the links to the page, including the option of buying signed copies directly from me. Until I finish converting the individual book pages to the new editor, you can find them all on the last page under the Champions tab, Hard Cover Editions.

I’m still waiting for my copies to arrive, but I’ll show them to you when they do. 🙂

Website Update

I’m doing an update on my websites this month, and hope to get it done by the end of September.

The first phase involves updating to a new editor from WordPress, which will make the content easier to read (especially on your phone).

One Knight Enchanted, #1 of the Rogues & Angels series of medieval romances by Claire Delacroix

Concurrent with that, I’m adding cute little buy buttons (!) as well as the option of buying signed print books directly from me. This editor also has a neat option for sharing audiobook samples, which I’ll use when there is an audiobook available.

You can see what the new pages will look like on the only one I’ve done on this site so far — One Knight Enchanted.

Each individual book page will include buy links for individual signed books and series bundles – which make more sense, given the cost of postage. As on my other sites, I’ll put the series bundles of print books on the Store tab.

After I get the update done, I’ll dig out my inventory of books and add more options. I know, for example, that I still have some mass market paperbacks of the Rogues of Ravensmuir, and maybe a few Bride Quest books, too.

Of course, you can always order bookplates from me for free. 🙂
