Audio at Apple

My audiobooks are available once again at Apple!

Since they are coming down a different distribution route, they are considered to be new works at Apple. This means that if you reviewed them before, those reviews won’t be linked to the new editions. If you did review any of my audiobooks before at Apple, I’d really appreciate your posting your reviews again on the new edition.

New Trope Buttons

First in SeriesI had an idea over the holidays and put it to work earlier this month. We all have our favorite tropes – like Second Chance or Marriage of Convenience or Hidden Heir – so I’ve added some buttons to the index page of my site. (Scroll down from Next & New to find them.)

Enemies to LoversI’ve sorted my books by trope, so each button takes you to a gallery of covers for books that fit that trope. You can click on the cover to go to the detail page for that book.

I think this is fun. What do you think? Is it useful to you? What tropes do you think I missed?

New Links for Audio

The Beauty Bride, #1 of the Jewels of Kinfairlie series of medieval Scottish romances by Claire Delacroix is also available in audioAs I mentioned to you a while back, my audio distribution changed as of January 1. This means new links for my audiobooks at the portals other than Audible and Amazon.

The links at NookAudio are now live. 🙂 I’ve updated them on the individual book pages, but you can see all eleven historical romance audiobooks on this page of search results at NookAudio.

The Crusader's Bride, #1 of the Champions of St. Euphemia series of medieval romances by Claire Delacroix is also available in audioThe links at Kobo are also live, with a few tweaks to be made. The page links will remain the same, even after the tweaking. You can find them all on this page of search results at Kobo.

The Apple links are taking longer to populate, which is typical. I’ll let you know when they’re live.

With this new distribution agreement, my audiobooks are (or will be) available at a lot of other retail and library portals, too, including: 24Symbols, Audiobooks.com, beek, Downpour, eStories, GooglePlay, hibooks, hummingbird, Instaread, librofm, Nextory, Playster, Scribd, Storytel, 3Leaf, Baker & Taylor, bibliotheca, Ebsco, Follett, hoopla, Odilo, Overdrive, Permabound and wheelers. Phew!

Changes to Audiobook Distribution

The Beauty Bride, #1 of the Jewels of Kinfairlie series of medieval Scottish romances by Claire Delacroix is also available in audioThere are a lot of exciting things happening with regards to audiobook distribution and that will mean new links in 2019. There are two reasons for this: the first is that my relationship with Blackstone Audio, who has been distributing my audiobooks, is coming to an end on December 31st. The second reason is that my new distributor, Findaway Voices, distributes to more portals, both for consumers and for libraries.

• Apple.
My audiobooks have been available at Amazon, Audible and Apple since they were first recorded. That’s not going to change, although the link for each audiobook at Apple will be changing, probably in January. This is because my audiobooks will be delivered to Apple from Findaway instead of Audible and when a product comes from a different source, it gets a new product number.

The Renegade's Heart, #1 of the True Love Brides series of medieval Scottish romances by Claire Delacroix is also available in audio• Kobo and Walmart, Nook Audio, GooglePlay
Once again, my audiobooks will continue to be available through these avenues, but will have new links in the new year.

• 24Symbols, Storytel, hibooks, Playster.
My audiobooks will also be available through these subscription services in 2019.

• Libraries.
My audiobooks will continue to be available at Downpour, although again, the links will change because they’ll be coming from a different source. They’ll also be available at Overdrive, Bibliotheca, EBSCO, Follett, 3LeafGroup, hoopla, Odila, Perma-bound, Wheelers and Baker & Taylor, all for libraries.

The Crusader's Bride, #1 of the Champions of St. Euphemia series of medieval romances by Claire Delacroix is also available in audioOne of the very exciting features offered by Findaway Voices is publisher control over pricing – which means that I can set up an audiobook sale. I’ll tell you more about that in 2019 after everything shifts over.

Audiobook distribution is changing, but I think this is a good thing.
